Fitness Test, 30 days later

I made it through the Bodyrock 30 Day Challenge.  I would recommend this for anyone that needs to kick start their workouts or break through a plateau.  I noticed the biggest difference in my endurance, both in workouts and playing hockey.  The last roller hockey game I played, I was barely winded throughout the game.  I used to get gassed before the 3rd period started.
I started the 30 Day Challenge with a Fitness Test as a baseline.  About halfway through the challenge I did the same Fitness Test again.  Now its time to post my scores from the last Fitness Test I did this evening.  I have 3 scores listed.  The baseline, the halfway, and the final score.
Squat Jumps - 27 - 28 - 32
Push Ups - 33 - 35 - 40
Burpees - 11 - 12 - 11
High Knees - ~110 - 126 - 130
Switch Lunges - 21 - 18 - 29
Tuck Jumps - 16 - 24 - 21
Sit Ups - 28 - 38 - 32
I didn’t have steady increases across the board like I expected, but this shows definitive progress.  The Burpee numbers are low, since I do them with a pushup.  You can only do these but so fast.  The Switch Lunges and Tuck Jumps go hand in hand.  If I am good at one, I’m bad at the other.  It is unfortunate that these 2 exercises are done back to back.  The sit ups are actually “straight ab” situps, with straight legs.  I rarely do sit ups this way and find them uncomfortable.  This is an explanation for my low numbers, but not an excuse.
I doubt I will do the next 30 Day Challenge (which starts on Monday), but I will do this again in the future.  After listening to my body during this extreme workout month, working out 3 to 4 times a week is the smarter thing for me to do instead of 5 or more.  The rest days did me a lot of good, so I can’t see reducing much valued off days.  If I get in a rut, I will look to repeat this challenge.
